Judith Goodliffe
President, Goodliffe Associates

Judie Goodliffe has been involved in the group health insurance business since 1979 when she joined a large brokerage firm in New Jersey. An award-winning insurance specialist for several years, she was named Vice President of Group Insurance in 1985, becoming the company's first female officer. Judie's subsequent five years with the firm involved launching and managing the Benefits Department, which thrived under her leadership. Her extensive experience involved consulting for regional and national accounts.

Together with her husband and business partner, Don Goodliffe, Judie founded Goodliffe Associates in 1987, bringing her vast group health insurance expertise to the couple's own successful venture. Her vast knowledge and thorough, hands-on service have not only expanded the business tremendously, but have resulted in an ongoing stream of referral business and loyal repeat clients.

In her work, Judie has always been concerned about the needs of others and providing quality service care to the best of her ability. "It's all about what's best for the client," is Judie's motto, and the foundation upon which she's built the business.

A strong entrepreneurial spirit and customer service drive have always been instrumental forces behind the success of Don Goodliffe's diverse business ventures. Upon co-founding Goodliffe Associates with wife Judie over 20 years ago, Don put his business sense, organizational skills and interpersonal savvy to work to help grow the company and establish clients.

"Goodliffe Associates was truly built one customer at a time," notes Don, who credits the firm's success on the personal attention and relationships for which it is widely known. "We have many longstanding clients who have been with us from the beginning, and that's a testament to the quality service and results we provide." Don has run and developed his own businesses throughout his entire professional life, always implementing a "give customers what they want" philosophy. Along with his commitment to work, Don has also been involved in trade organizations, local service organizations, and as a member of the boards of various companies as well as a bank, country club and local board of education.
